About Us

Our Story

Redssen began with love — a son’s care for his mother who found it hard to change a duvet cover as she aged.

From the very beginning, Redssen set out to create bedding that was not only stylish and comfortable, but also effortless to use — especially for those who struggle with traditional duvet covers. In today’s fast-paced world, even the simple act of making your bed can become a daily frustration: tangled ties, stubborn corners, endless shaking. Yet these inconveniences have long been accepted as the norm — a symptom of design that ignores human experience.

We believe true home comfort starts with zero tolerance for unnecessary discomfort. At Redssen, we saw an opportunity: to redefine everyday living through thoughtful design.

Redssen was born from a simple insight — to bring gentle ease to daily life with elegant, intelligent solutions. This belief became our guiding philosophy: “Easy Change, Better Life.”

Our Mission

We created Redssen with a mission to solve this everyday hassle. We outlined 10 clear goals that our ideal duvet cover needed to meet:
1.Quick and easy to change—no struggle to insert or remove the duvet.
2.Secure fastening to prevent the duvet from shifting.
3.Compatible with traditional tie-style comforters.
4.Soft and cozy to ensure high-quality sleep.
5.Comfort and convenience—no compromises.
6.No need for shaking—easy for one person to manage.
7.Dust and lint-free—perfect for allergy-sensitive users.
8.Anti-static to avoid static shocks and cling.
9.Pet-friendly—resistant to fur sticking and easy to clean.
10.Easy to wash and tumble dry.

Forming small creative design teams

Our products are made by a small team of passionate and creative designers. When you see the iconic “zucchini” on the label of a Redssen product, be assured that it is not just a simple logo, but a symbol of quality and craftsmanship. It represents our dedication and sincerity in every aspect of this product, from design conception to fabric selection, from production to quality inspection. Each “zucchini” is a promise from Redssen to our customers, a promise to bring you the best quality products and the most intimate experience.

Design prototype

From the way of opening to the fixed structure, every stroke hides a thought about solving the problem of changing the quilt cover. After discussion and screening, we combined our ideas and made paper samples. Between cutting with scissors and pasting with glue, designs such as three large openings and a ring-shaped buckle took shape, and this slightly rough paper model became the starting point for our innovation.

Craftsmanship in every stitch

Always putting quality first, we set our sights on a small batch family factory in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China. This city, with its rich cotton textile heritage, has produced countless masterpieces of textile craftsmanship, and this family-owned factory is one of the best. The inherited textile techniques, the extreme attention to detail and the dedication to quality are all in line with Redssen's philosophy. So you can use our products for years and years.

Applied for and granted national patents

Our innovative designs have been granted patents in Europe, UK, Japan, Saudi Arabia and other countries. This cross-cultural and cross-regional recognition is not only an affirmation of our ingenuity, but also an incentive to keep going. Patent applications in more countries around the world are now progressing steadily!

Finding the right fabric

For fabrics that are soft and delicate to the touch, have excellent breathability, possess an anti-static effect, and meet the dual requirements of comfort and functionality. We use high-weight materials and high-density knitting technology.

Forty times of overthrowing

After finalizing the fabric, from design drawings to physical molding, the first sample finally came. However, when we touched the finished product, we found that the fabric alignment and zipper details were not as expected. Every thread, every zipper, and even the millimeter-level size error became the focus of our repeated scrutiny. Forty samples, forty times overturning and starting over, in countless adjustments and attempts, finally realized both comfortable and practical works of satisfaction.

The birth of the Duvet cover

When the final version of the duvet cover is created, the three large side openings open and close smoothly, the hidden double-layer zipper is smooth and silent, and the ring clasp fastens accurately. High-weight fabrics are soft and supple, and the outer layer is resistant to stains and wrinkles. Not only did it achieve the 10 design goals, but it also revolutionized the sleep experience with its outstanding quality.
